Yesterday we danced along the waterfront of our beautiful Sydney harbour in the warm golden sun as we celebrated many special moments for us. Three years ago Shawn asked if I'd officially be his girl (fun fact, we were already in love), two years ago he asked if I'd be his forever girl & popped a ring on my finger, & one-and-a-half years ago I became his wife! What a day to celebrate!
I frolicked along like a happy little puppy, wearing an old favourite dress with hibiscus' splashed all over. It was blissfully warm, and the water was sparkling blue, proudly matching the sky.
We drank delicious coffee & ate a tasty brekky on the Kirribilli wharf, one of my favourite little cafes which hangs out over the water! We then made the most of that glorious Autumn weather & popped on a ferry for half an hour before looping back to Kirribilli.
After taking in all the sights while putting along around the harbour, we walked over to Milsons Point. And of course how can you not take a stroll through Luna Park. We ended up at Lavender Bay where we sat in the beautiful shade of Wendy Whiteley's picturesque gardens for a while & found the prettiest tutu-like flowers (see below) which were bigger than my hand!
We eventually made our way back to Milsons Point where we grabbed a smoothie from a small diner. Then, back to the water to sit and enjoy - mmmm.
We finished off our time on the north shore by respectfully giggling at a rather hilarious bridal shoot happening at Bradley's Head. I won't go into detail incase I offend anyone. But it was entertaining, that's for sure.
Lastly, Shawn took me to a nursery to pick out a plant I've had my eyes on for quite awhile!! Love my little Yucca. A perfectly perfect day indeed... we'll be dreaming of this one for weeks to come.
