Last week we endured a 43 degree day (over 100F), it was a real stinker! Thankfully, Shawn and I both had the day off so naturally it was straight to the ocean!
We discovered Bouddi National Park on the Central Coast about a month ago and absolutely love it. This place will definitely be a summer favourite. There is a coastal walk that goes on for about 8km, with various secluded beaches dotted along the way.
Due to the heat, we decided to park as close as possible to one particular beach and avoid too much of a walk. We walked through the bush for about 1.5km before it opened up onto beautiful Maitland Bay. It was quiet, clear, and sparkling just as we hoped. We are forever amazed as to why so many people choose over populated beaches such as the iconic Bondi, when there are places like this around! It may not have the cafe's or ice cream parlours but it does have open space and the ocean is all yours! So dreamy.
We took my new roundie towel from The Beach People out for a spin and it did not disappoint! I love it. Enjoy some photos from our day! This place speaks for itself.
